Taylor Williams

Researcher Carolinas/Georgia

Taylor Williams is the Researcher for the Carolinas and Georgia. She conducts research for the 10 Million Names Project.

Taylor joined American Ancestors in 2026. She is a researcher and public historian with a focus on African American history and sports history.

Taylor graduated from with a B.A. from the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. She received an M.A. in Public History from North Carolina State University. Prior to joining American Ancestors, she interned with the Gilder Lehrman Institute of American History where she supported the development of travel exhibits and public programming.
