Director of Strategic Partnerships
Joyce Jones is a seasoned writer and editor with decades of experience in journalism, communications, and print production. Most recently, she has served as the senior writer and content producer for the Harvard & the Legacy of Slavery initiative at the Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study at Harvard University. Joyce will join the 10 Million Names team in September 2023.
Joyce, who holds a bachelor’s degree in literature, spent many years on Capitol Hill as a congressional and White House correspondent for Black Enterprise magazine and BET.com and as the communications director for Florida Rep. Frederica S. Wilson. In addition, the Boston native previously worked at Howard University as the managing editor of Howard Magazine and as a senior development writer.
